Course Guidance
The first point of contact for prospective international students is the coordinator Uni-Start.
The coordinator offers guidance on which courses of study might be suitable and informs prospective students about preparatory courses at the University of Siegen, such as a preparatory language course.
During the guidance sessions they will
- discuss educational biographies,
- discuss the application process,
- identify options to get foreign qualifications and examination achievements recognised,
- discuss ways on how to acquiring a higher education entrance qualification in Germany.
The Uni-Start coordinator also manages the communication with other larger and smaller actors involved in integration work, such as the Jobcenter, Integration Point, or the Social Welfare Office.
